Social Impact: Growing Together with People and Communities

At XPashmina, our purpose has always been bigger than business. For us, true success lies in ensuring that the people who contribute to our craft live with dignity, comfort, and opportunity. Every thread we weave carries not only the warmth of the Himalayas but also the stories of empowered women, protected farmers, and nurtured children.

Empowering Women at the Heart of Our Craft

Women form the backbone of our production unit, and we are deeply committed to their well-being. Beyond fair wages, we provide an environment where their rights, health, and dignity are respected every single day.

Mothers working in our facility never have to worry about their children—we have set up a dedicated play and care space within our factory. Children are given nutritious meals and plenty of room to play, ensuring peace of mind for mothers while they work.

We also recognize the natural cycles of women’s health. Our work schedules are mindful of menstruating women, who are voluntarily granted two days of paid leave each month to rest and recover without stigma or worry.

Caring for the Farmers and Their Chyangras

The Himalayan farmers who raise Chyangras are the guardians of the world’s finest Pashmina. At XPashmina, we see them as partners, not just suppliers. Their resilience and devotion deserve recognition—and we ensure they receive it.

  • Each farmer and their Chyangras are covered with health and life insurance, protecting their future.

  • Farmers receive free medical check-ups every three months through health camps funded by XPashmina.

  • To stay connected, every farmer has been provided with a mobile phone, ensuring help and support are always within reach.

Investing in the Next Generation

Our responsibility does not end with the artisans and farmers. We believe in investing in their children—the next generation of dreamers, creators, and leaders.

  • Children of our farmers receive educational support and the opportunity to pursue their studies.

  • We are working on building local educational infrastructures and providing scholarships so these children can attend schools and colleges without financial burden.

By nurturing young minds, we aim to break cycles of hardship and create a ripple effect of opportunity in Himalayan communities.

A Shared Future

At XPashmina, we hold a simple belief: the company grows when her people grow. That is why we continue to invest not only in our workers and farmers but also in their families and children.

Our vision is clear—luxury should uplift lives, not exploit them. With every handcrafted Pashmina, you are not just wearing elegance—you are carrying forward a story of compassion, empowerment, and shared growth.
